United Health Group Case Study

UHG is one of the largest companies in the world, and they have the monumental task of dealng with an ever-evolving healthcare landscape.  They are constantly integrating new teams, new intitiatives and new federal requirements into their day-to-day operations, and this is an ongoing challenge.  Their quest for innovative solutions is never-ending, and it is vital that they come up with new and revolutionary ways of looking at age-old problems in order to remain at the forefront of their industry.


The Danger Committee was brought in to participate in a multi-day retreat and training session that included multiple expert speakers on the topic of innovation.  We presented a program to open the event that included audience-participation, customized comedy, and a case study of our own group's creation to serve as a model for integrating disparate elements to create a greater whole.  The session was a huge success, and as a result we were asked to participate in the first ever Innovation Day held on the UHG corporate campus. This then led to program participants Brave New Workshop requesting webecome a fixture in their prestigious InnovationU project, sharing our story with representatives from companies across the country in an effort to maximize innovation within corporate culture.
